Dharamshala:

McLeod Ganj:
As the residence of the 14th Dalai Lama and the epicenter of Tibetan Buddhism in India, McLeod Ganj exudes a serene aura of spirituality. The Tsuglagkhang Complex, housing the Dalai Lama's temple, the Tibet Museum, and the Namgyal Monastery, attracts pilgrims and seekers from around the world. Travelers can participate in meditation sessions, attend teachings, and immerse themselves in the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism. The vibrant markets offer a plethora of Tibetan artifacts, clothing, and souvenirs, while the aroma of Tibetan delicacies tantalizes the taste buds of visitors.
Kareri Lake Trek: Kareri lake is best known for being a trekking destination in the Dhauladhars. The lake remains frozen from early December to March–April. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Shakti on a hilltop overlooking the lake..Kareri Lake (also known as Kumarwah Lake) is a high altitude, shallow, fresh water lake south of the Dhauladhar range approximately 9 km North West of Dharamsala in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. Its surface is 2934 metres above the sea level. Snow melting from the Dhauladhar range serves as the source of the lake and a stream, Nyund is the outflow. Since the source is fresh melting snow and the lake is shallow, water visibility is very high and in most places, the lake bed can be seen.
Bir Billing: Bir is a village located in the west of Joginder Nagar Valley in the state of Himachal Pradesh in northern India. Mostly referred as “Paragliding Capital of India”, Bir is also a noted centre for ecotourism, spiritual studies and meditation. Bir is also home to a Tibetan refugee settlement with several Buddhist monasteries and a large stupa. While Billing is the takeoff site for paragliding and Bir village is for landing; collectively it is known “Bir Billing”.
Morning arrival in Dharamshala and transfer (self-transfer) to McLeod Ganj
Check - into your Hotel and rest for a while before starting your local sightseeing
The local sightseeing will include the visit to Bhagshu Nag Temple & Waterfalls, Norbulinga Institute, Dalai Lama Temple, Church, War Memorial, HPCA Stadium & Naddi Sunset Point
Rest for the day in the hotel having your buffet dinner.
Have a filling breakfast at the hotel and start your journey to Kareri village
Start your Kareri Lake trek by early afternoon so that you can reach easily at the Kareri Lake by evening
Today's trek distance & duration is 12 kms & 5 hours approx respectively
Reach Kareri lake by the evening and enjoy your tea with snacks
Soak in the mesmerizing views of sunsetting behind the mighty Minkiani Pass from a high point near the Kareri Lake
Rest for the day in twilight camps after having your buffet dinner
Start your descend back towards Kareri Villlage after having breakfast
Today's trek distance & duration is 12 kms & 4 hours approx respectively
You will reach Kareri Village by the afternoon
Start your journey to Bir immediately after descending down
Reach Bir by evening and heck - into your room/tent
Retire for the day in the hotel room after having dinner
Enjoy your delicious breakfast in the hotel/camps
Begin your day with the adrenaline junk of paragliding which includes a 20 mins flight and tranportation to Billing. It takes roughly around 2 hours for the whole activity.
Then proceed for the local sightseeing of Bir which includes visit to Chokling Institute, Gunehar Waterfall, Dharmalaya Institute & Cafes
Departure back to Dharamshala
It's time now to bid adieu to each other

1. Trek/Trip can be called off anytime without prior notification in case of Bad Weather, any Political or Natural Disturbance considering the Safety of the clients. Any alternate itinearay of the Trek/Trip will be followed in that case.

4. We only book the Volvo tickets. The Driver/Conductor conatct details are shared a few hours prior to the journey directly at the contact number provided by you at the time of the boking. It's the clients responsibility to coordinate with the concerened person on the Volvo.
